General Information

Location
All classes will be held at Haverling Central School in either the middle school or high school portion of the building. Please look for the specific location or classroom in the course description.


Eligibility

Classes are open to all area residents.


Registration

Participants may register for courses by completing the Registration Form found in this newsletter or by printing out the Registration Form on the District Website (www.bathcsd.org) under District Documents and in the category  Community Education Program.  The Registration Form along with a check for the course fee(s) should be mailed to Bath Central School District and must be received at least one week prior to the date of your first class.              


Confirmation of Courses

We will not confirm registrations. Participants will only be notified if a class is cancelled due to low enrollment.


Cancellation of Classes

Adult Education classes may be cancelled independently of the high school. Cancellation announcements will be made on WVIN and WCKR radio. Cancellation notices will also be placed on the District Website and the Community Education Hotline (622-1075).

 

Course Offerings/Scheduling
Course offerings will be posted in the District Newsletter as well as on the District Website.

 

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of the Bath Central School District buildings, nor on anywhere on school grounds.

 

Registration Fee
As the Adult Program is entirely self-funded; we must charge a nominal registration fee per student for each course to cover the cost of the instructor, advertising, printing, and any material and/or supply costs associated with the course.  Please note:  There may be additional costs for materials and supplies depending on the class. 


Refunds

In an effort to maintain low tuition rates, refunds will only be given for cancelled classes.

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TEACH?

If you would like to submit a workshop proposal for the spring session please complete an Adult Ed. Instructional Application.  The application form is available on the District Website (www.bathcsd.org) under District Documents in the category Community Education Program.  Instructors and Workshops will be selected based on instructor experience.
