The library offers support to teachers. This includes support in our Bath School Libraries as well as our BOCES School Library System.
BATH SCHOOL LIBRARIES
Collaboration: We are will work hard to help you and incorporate the library into your curriculum.
Book Repair: Send any of your classroom book in need of repair to the library. We will do our best to fix them up and extend their shelf life. Large quantities of book repairs may require that you submit a purchase order for repair supplies. We will do the work.
Research: Don't have enough time to do some research? Give us some details and we will find some materials for you.
Inter Library Loan: We have access to almost every school in the Southern Tier from Alleghany County to the Catskill Mountains. You can check SCOOLS to see if any if the material is available in our Inter-Library Loan. Please plan ahead.
The Dormann Library: Our Bath School Libraries have a good working relationship with our local public library. Let us know if there is anything that both libraries might be able to help you.
Library Cards: Doing a reseach project? Want your students to have access to more reading materials? Pick up Dormann Library Card applications for your students in the Bath School Library. Complete and sign the applications (students under 16 require parent/guardian signature). The Bath School Libraries will get the cards for you in a few days. You will have access to 48 public libraries in the Southern Tier.
BOCES SCHOOL LIBRARY SYSTEM
BOCES School Library System support includes: Audiobooks, multiple copies collection, media library, professional library, OPAC tutorial, webOPAC, scools union catalog, and online databases.
