We have been learning about African music this month. After studying the native instruments and songs of Africa, we learned how to play in a drum circle.
On January 20th, the Okra Dance Okra Company came to perform for our students. It was an afternoon full of music, drums and dancing.
Students will be bringing home Africa books to share with you what they have learned.
