There are many opportunities for singers to enrich themselves above and beyond the options they have at Haverling. In November they have the opportunity to attend the Junior High (9th Grade) or the Senior High (10-12 Grade) Area All-State. Each of these festivals offers a Women's Chorus and a Mixed Chorus. In January, vocalists can opt to perform a solo for the Steuben County Music Teachers' Association All-County auditions. Participation in this event gives vocal students the opportunity to work with Mr. Bryson on an individual basis and get specific vocal training. In March, singers that are accepted to the Steuben County Music Teachers' Association All-County will be informed of whether they will participate in the Women's Chorus or the Mixed Chorus. The selections for these groups are based on the results from the Solo Festival in January. For more information follow the link on the left labeled All-County Festival.

In April, singers that do well at the January solo festival and are recommended by Mr. Bryson can prepare a solo for the New York State School Music Association Spring Adjudication Festival.
